Rapper, record producer, and Entrepreneur, Sean “Diddy” Combs, is currently facing trial on charges including federal sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The most recent testimony from witness George Kaplan, a former executive assistant to Diddy, highlighted his efforts to maintain Diddy’s public image by meticulously cleaning up after him while Diddy entertained others in hotel rooms. Kaplan testified about the lengths he went to hide Diddy’s activities. This included cleaning hotel rooms and disposing of items that might reflect poorly on the rap mogul, such as condoms, baby oil, and lubricants for Diddy’s “freak-offs.

George Kaplan also booked hotel rooms for Diddy including the room at the Intercontinental Hotel where the video was released when Diddy was physically beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Kaplan testified in court that he used the alias, Frank Black, to book hotel rooms.

Former Dannity Kane member, Dawn Richards, also testified in court recounting a severe beating in 2009 where Combs violently assaulted Ventura. According to Richard’s testimony, Combs shouted angrily about a late dinner, grabbed a skillet with eggs, and attempted to hit Ventura on the head, causing her to collapse. He then pulled her upstairs by her hair as Richard heard screaming and glass breaking. The next day, Combs called Richard to a recording studio, attempting to dismiss the violence as “passion” typical of lovers, while warning them ominously about the dangers of speaking out, including the suggestion that people “come up missing” for such actions. Richards is currently suing Combs in a civil case for sexual abuse and inhumane working conditions.

Diddy’s family has been greatly affected by his actions. His children have been supportive of him during this process and in attendance during the court process. There was an instance in the court where things got too sexually explicit and his kids walked out.

Combs’ actions got his sons handcuffed during a raid at his mansion last year. Christian seems to be following in his father’s footsteps because he is accused of sexual assault and battery which allegedly happened on Diddy’s yacht.
